Yes! Unless you have a specific medical issue, anybody can learn to sing. Singing is not just a talent, it's a learned skill set. If you're willing to learn a new skill, and work on your craft, you can learn to sing.

If you're willing to practice consistently, fast! Most people notice a remarkable increase in their range, decrease in their strain, and great improvement in their tone, after just one lesson. Your progress depends on a few factors like vocal health, and how consistently you're able to do your lesson plan. If you do your vocal workouts, you'll be amazed at how fast your voice can progress. 

For in-person lessons, I recommend bringing your smart phone and using an app to record your lessons. Most smart phones have free apps you can use like Voice Memos. I also recommend labeling and dating each lesson file, and saving your lesson file somewhere safe in case something happens to your phone.

Online lessons can also be recorded depending on the software you're using.

With voice training, often is better than longer. Even just 10-15 minutes of vocals done everyday will produce some wonderful progress.

While in person lessons are preferred, it's amazing how effective online coaching can be! All you need is a good internet connection and a decent sense of pitch, and you can have a great singing lesson from the comfort of your own home.
